TEACHING
Carol Shinn has taught many classes and workshops across the United States including classes at schools such as Arrowmont, Penland, Peter’s Valley, and Haystack. She has also taught university level classes at Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ and at Mesa Community College, Mesa, AZ.
Carol has taught many different kinds of classes, ranging from university classes lasting a full semester to one-day workshops. Subjects include: Machine stitching and thread painting, Fabric dyeing and surface design, Weaving, Color theory, Basic two-dimensional design, and Two-dimensional designing with fabric. Carol also gives lectures on her work.
